FROM NIGHTCLUB TO NON-PROFIT INSTITUTION

On April 10, 2002, Soul Sanctuary debuted in the Philadelphia nightlife scene as a place where cool kids could gather to explore the burgeoning live music community and become acquainted with rising stars that were based in the city or sneaking in for their production and "paying dues" performances.

Twenty-two years later, we have amassed an amazing following for our audio broadcasts, video projects, live events, social media engagement, and all of the other ways that our non-profit arts education foundation seeks to build community, enlighten audiences, celebrate cultural legacy, and cultivate tastemakers with refined palettes. We’re all grown up now.
