A personal appeal from Your VibeMistress Stephanie Renée
Soul Sanctuary celebrated our 22nd Anniversary in April. What an accomplishment and a blessing!
In this “good & grown” phase of our existence, we are looking toward the future with renewed vigor and enthusiasm. We’ve partnered with Walking Bear Management to host the first-ever Sick Wit It Health & Wellness Symposium, focused on ensuring that Philadelphia’s creative community has access to information and resources to live long, healthy, and productive lives. We’re expanding the reach of our Photographic Memory installation and discussion series to more institutions throughout the region and country, where we can engage youth in activities around social justice and journalism. Our RAISE program is exposing a whole new generation to the life, legacy, and teachings of social justice advocate Leon H. Sullivan. Our Soul Sanctuary Radio streaming station and I Heard That video show continue to attract audiences, domestic and international, with our passion for soulful expression. We are continuing to expand our digital imprint, with the relaunch of the SICK WIT IT podcast and the return of talk show The Mojo to our streaming airwaves.
But in order to build on these gains, it will take your investment to keep the gears turning.
Your contributions, today and every day, will be applied to:
Attend to the basic operating costs of the organization: web hosting, digital design, cloud storage, updated streaming software, and other equipment that allows us to function and document our progress.
Acquire the proper legal representation to file for federal 501(c)3 nonprofit status, secure our Board of Directors, and solidify our Board of Advisors.
Fund paid internships to groom a new generation of cultural warriors in film, music, photojournalism, and creative writing, who can chronicle the journey of where we've been and where we're going.
We're looking to add you to our list of SUSTAINING Soul Mates.

I thank you, and I promise that Soul Sanctuary will always be about the good work of keeping soulfulness heard and seen.
